Some of the criteria that a school’s students may be required to meet are: (1) about one-fourth of the school's students must score Proficient or Advanced on the California Standards Tests; (2) at least 95 percent of the students must take the tests; and (3) test scores must result in an API of at least 590 or growth of at least one point.
