Schools That Don't Work: The head of the Gates Foundation, Tom Vander Ark, delivered this startling speech in November 2000 to the Public Education Network. It is titled, "The Seven Deadly Sins of Troubled Schools." It is one of the clearer, more candid critiques of educational failure we've seen. It is short. But it is not sweet. Highly recommended.
