There is more to budget cutting than meets the eye. It is a moment when everyone staff, administrators, parents, business partners, board members share a single concern. This can make your work both easier and harder at the same time.
This owl encourages you to take a moment from sharpening your red pencil, and consider the opportunities in this trying moment. This feature on the School Wise Press website may offer a helpful perspective, and a few practical and timely suggestions.
As always, your comments are welcome. If you have suggestions for your colleagues on how to better manage the cutbacks you are facing, please send them my way. I'll post them as letters-to-the-editor for all to share.
