What we do: Gather ten years of data on staffing levels for your district and the other 15 in your similarity set, and create ratios per student to make cross-district comparisons feasible and fair. Then we visualize the results for teachers, pupil services and administrative staff.
What you do: You take the results to your collective bargaining team, and on studying the results, you learn that you have fewer administrators per pupil than similar districts. Your bargaining team puts the evidence in front of the teachers’ union, and shows them that their claim that your district is top heavy fall apart.
