The Spotlight report is short and sweet, ready to post online and print by mid-September. It contains the most recent CST, API and AYP results released only two weeks earlier. Principals use this at Back-to-School Nights. Include it in parent notification mailings about schools in Program Improvement. Give it to parents at parent-teacher conferences. Mail it home along with first grading-period report cards.
