Summary reports. Some districts that are not our clients have also created accountability reports in both summary and full-length formats. You can see what they've done from the links below. Summaries require deciding what matters most. The leadership in the districts below have tended to place California Standard Test results and the API at the center of their summary documents.

San Diego City Schools

Reports in Spanish. Districts serving high proportions of parents who are Spanish speakers are also creating bilingual editions of their accountability reports. Some districts like Santa Ana USD are translating only their summary reports, a practical and economical alternative. Others like Los Angeles USD are translating full-length documents.

National

Other states don't allow local districts to publish their own annual reports. Rather, their state departments of education take the reins, publish the reports, and hand the completed documents to districts to distribute. The states whose reports you find below are examples of more effective communications than most.
