The program includes a half-day coaching session for school leaders or board members.

  • Overview of PI: How do schools get that designation? Review of PI stages, specfic vocabulary, and cohort requirements.
  • Looking at our own data: What's true about our own school? What do the data show?
  • Interpreting the data: Where are we close? How close? What are our challenges?
  • Putting our school in context: How do we compare with similar schools?
  • Communicating about PI: Who are we talking to? What are their concerns? What can we tell them?

Pre-planning ensures that the coaches enhance the curriculum to address specific district needs. And follow-up is available to assist attendees in creating their own customized presentations.
